REVEALiT BOOK SERIES

REVEALiT is a series of colouring puzzle books with a twist.

Each illustration is made up of numbered squares. Follow the colour key, fill in the squares and gradually reveal the hidden picture. You'll probably find yourself wondering what it might be before the image becomes clear!

There are four themed books — Animals, Fruit & Veg, Flowers and Patterns — plus a fifth book, 100 Puzzles, which combines puzzles from all four.

I wanted to keep the pictures as simple as possible, so all five books use the same palette of 22 colours. The squares measure 5 × 5 mm, making them large enough to colour comfortably for all ages. The Fruit & Veg book has an extra feature: the pictures reveal the English names of the fruit and vegetables, too.

Colouring is a lovely way to slow down and quieten a busy mind. REVEALiT adds a little curiosity to the experience: as you colour, you wonder what the picture will turn out to be. The surprise is part of the fun!

A practical tip: If you're using felt-tip pens or markers, place a sheet of thick paper underneath the page you're colouring. This will help protect the pages below in case the ink bleeds through.
